What if CU hired Butch Jones

Mike MacIntyre is a great coach. That's a tough job in Boulder and he's done really well there. In retrospect I 100% would have made that swap.

Likely the same situation. Pac 12 is a weak conference. Yeah his rebuild looks good but the SEC is whole other beast. He would look like Jones, average. You get what you pay for.

Then you'd be able to retrospectively want to hire Butch. Grass is greener yo!

You all drive me crazy. Some of you latch on to the "coach of the day" in the "top 10". Mike MacIntyre head coaching record is 34-50. He won 10 games the first 3 years at CU. The PAC 12 is not the SEC.

It would not matter if Saban was the coach at Tennessee, some of you would still find something to complain about.

What if Gruden came to Tennessee and once Manning retired, he came to be Gruden's O.C.?

What if Bela cheat left N. E. and came to U.T. when Dooley was fired? He also brought his entire coaching staff with him.

What if when Dooley was fired, the Alabama administrative pissed Saban off and he left Alabama and came to Tennessee?

What if Hamilton had hired Mike Leach?

Saban looks like a leprechaun. He wears too many pink shirts and makes smiling look painful. His swigging from a Coke bottle during pressers reeks of product promo, and his Regions Bank commercials are worse. I could go on... :)

What if Lincoln had guards posted at the door to his box at Ford's Theater?

What if Mama Cass had hated sandwiches?

What if Ron Goldman had a couple of cop friends who took Nicole her glasses as a personal favor?

This could go on all night.......

Over the past 4 years, I am not so sure about the SEC is that much tougher than PAC 12. Since 2012-13 season, SEC has a .680 win %, PAC 12 = .629 . Everyone talks about how bear the cupboard was when Butch took over, but in comparison, CU's cupboard made ours look like Bama's.
