I think Auburn is vulnerable enough on offense for UT to have a shot at a win or close loss IF they play like they did last week. However, what Im concerned about is... we saw a fight, improved play that gives a little hope yet if they lose to Auburn and get a likely big loss to Alabama, will this team hang on for that back half schedule, or get so discouraged and beaten up they pack it in?

They’ve got no choice but to hang on...they won’t be playing next year if they don’t stay on task...and Pruitt not the type to put up with it. After UGA last year, everyone bagged it because they knew CBJ was gone.

What actions has CJP for you to make the statement the he isnt the type to put up with it?

For starters grabbing guys when they come off the field after poor play. As opposed to the infamous pat on the butt “let’s try better next time” from previous regime.
Pretty sure fulmer clapped after every mistake.
Never saw bill synder yell at a player.

Didn’t say yell. I’ve seen Pruitt explaining, maybe with some excitement, showing how to do it better next time.

It wouldnt surprise me if they pack it in after the Bama slaughter. This team. Is full of players ingratiated with a losing attitude. I hope they dont, but it wont be a shock if they do.

Is Auburn gets the chance to run up the score. Then 'Bama gets the chance to rest some key players the next week, trying to keep the score down.

Auburn will destroy us, just like every sec team... hope I’m wrong but it is what it is.

"Learn how to strain. Max effort on every play. Keep playing with high intensity." On the Jeremy Pruitt show, many times mentioned players taking plays off (too many more quotes to name amd his no bull crap demeanor). Sapp dismissed in the middle of the game for supposedly "refusing to go back in the game." Heck, if you don't practice with effort, you don't play. Plenty proof there. You know this.

I hear this stuff yet have yet to see anyone quit or get booted or lose playing time.

With regard to the Sapp incident CJP doesnt seem to have done very much to discipline QS.

Just MO.

I think Pruitt overreacted about what happened on the sideline and handled the situation correctly.

Miss States backs look huge and physical, something UT doesn’t have. Plus Moorehead finally figured out what Fitzgerald is great at and let him do his thing. UT doesn’t have a player like NF that is dominant at one phase of the game.

No team, “plays like they did last week” against UT. The chances of their backup QB being inserted to the game and breaking all conference records against us are higher.

Your wasting your time trying to explain to some on here, they have made up their mind about Pruitt.
