IDK, but we're staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Fort Lauderdale-17th street. Anyone else staying there?

Hit the Elbo Room. 10 minute walk from Embassy. I spent a week there one night.

Yep, worth a visit. Across from the beach. We stopped for a beer and ended up staying for several.

Tip while in Lauderdale avoid the time share events.

Yikes! Every time I watch that movie that hotel looks like the one I stayed in when I was living on Miami Beach in 1979.

Hell, you might have actually stayed in that motel..... wasn't the same room was it????!!
