Mizzou? No way. Same with TAMU. MSU? Possible. JJ doesnt have elite speed or size. He is tough but thats about it.
He doesnt have elite speed or size? What is an elite size in your opinion? He is listed at 6'4" which is an inch taller than one of the best receivers in the league, Julio Jones. No, I am not comparing talent, only size. What is your opinion of elite speed? I, just like you, seen him burn a now NFL corner numerous times the same game. He is open several times a game and always gets more yards after the catch. Not sure what else he can do to prove his talent to some people. He about like all of the rest of the receivers the past several years have been open down field but no one can get the ball to them

Highly disagree.

Injuries have slowed him down a bit but when healthy, he’s one of the best WRs we have that plays with toughness.

He might not have “Elite Speed” but he’s got SEC size.

He’s not been targeted much this year.

I'm disillusioned by the offensive play calling at UT. If it is the OL, then have the QB line up in shot-gun and roll out of the pocket (L or R) to buy time. Running it off guard or tackle with a poor OL 25 times a game is just silly. Throw to the TE more often. Send a bunch package downfield and throw instead to a slot-receiver. Screen pass anyone....anyone? I agree that you need at least an average OL, but it can't always be the problem year after year after year.....

We are throwing to the TE, DWA can't catch, or run block for that matter and Pope gave up 6 for a touchback. Last screen pass success we had ended in a TD... for Florida, and our most explosive RB averages 1 lost fumble per game. OL is our biggest problem, not our only problem. Our boys had a losing identity and they're pushing out of that. I'm proud of them for fighting and not giving up. They're better than what they are showing. They are more aggressive every week.

JJ best player on the team when healthy. He is not 100%.Nobody on offense is close at the skill positions except TC and MC. Watch as JJ dismantles all secondaries he faces down the stretch. You all know it’s true and have seen it. When he gets the ball in his hands he is electric. Enough with the TJ wildcat. Run it with JJ. He was a freaking outstanding QB in high school. TS has equal taken for his position. Nobody on the team is more aggressive than JJ. Our 3 best players on offense are all from TN. MC has to show me he can beat press coverage consistently on more than a 10 yd hitch route. Had some good catches downfield against inferior players but nothing since and was shut down by Florida and Georgia

Interesting. As a Murfreesboro native I concur. JJ for wildcat would be an interesting red zone package. He can preread the D as well as throw and run.

Qb play from JG has been one of the very few bright spots on offense. Certainly not great, but good to very when given an opportunity.

Seems to me that the offense has been very limited primarily due to the philosophy/identity they’re trying to force, which is a power, downhill running team. Hence, that’s why we run it approximately 7 out of every 10 plays come hell or high water....despite not remotely having the OL personnel to do so.

I’m hopeful that Pruitt spending time with the offense during the BYE week means we’ll see the offense open up more, we’ll see a much better pass to run ratio and all us JJ fans will all he happy when he gets 5-6 catches per game.

+ Helton was on the sideline today.
