What Happened To Us?

Is there a reason that we are incapable of signing any big time DT's? That used to be a strength of ours. Remember Big John Henderson and Hayneworth? I thought Brimfield was going to be the next guy, but now I understand they're moving him to O-Line? Bolden has been somewhat of a mystery, plays great one game and vanishes the next. It seems to be an area of need for us now, eso stopping the run, and we cant seem to garner one single DT commit. What's up?

Consider Florida:

Gator defense should be crazy good in 3 years.

Between the 2007 class and the 2008 class, they will have signed three top five defensive tackles, four top ten linebackers, four top ten safeties, and a couple of top five defensive ends.

Well, in Henderson's case, it helped that he was an in-state kid. If the state produces another behemoth like him, I think our chances to land him are very good.

I'm disappointed to see Brandon Thompson narrow his choices to LSU and Clemson...I was really hoping the Vols could land him.

Giles County's Kendall Dangerfield commits to

MTSU.

Dangerfield a 6' 2", 270 lb DE with 75 tackles, 15 sacks and
4 FG blocks in 2007 chose MTSU over Memphis.

I didnt have to last year. Recruiting was actually going well and this board was rocking. Lately it's been dead. Just trying to stir the pot and generate some activity. Glad you could notice.
