SIAP and merge if needed.

Worth a read. Seems the smear campaign on Pruitt is in full force. It is in interesting take on the 2015 Georgia team should you choose to believe it.

What Happened at UGA in 2015? Part One... The Vacuum is Filled

“The root of the problem was that Pruitt was running the show,” another player said. “Coach Richt is a non-confrontational guy. He didn’t check Pruitt, and it went from there. I think Pruitt just flat cussed out Coach Richt, and he didn’t do anything back.”

Part Two... No one believes in Brian Schottenheimer

I didn't know they could read well enough at Georgia to be able to have a beat writer:rolleyes: The Georgia fans must be getting nervous of Coach Pruitt and his recruiting to be putting out so much trash lately:furious3:

Good read. Sounds like Richt was checked out and slipping up and Pruitt called him out and took over himself. Which caused obvious problems. We could look at that as a good thing. He wont tolerate complacency.

Plus I have a feeling he'll be extra motivated when we play UGA.

That account sounds more plausible than the embellished version secking has frequently given here. Bottom line: There is no reason for Tennessee fans to care about what happened at Georgia 3 years ago.

There is more coming, the end of the article says part 2 of the series is coming tomorrow.

The view from Athens Georgia:

What the heck is wrong with this Pruitt guy? Is winning 9-10 games a year not enough? What does he expect?...a national championship? Stop rocking the boat Pruitt!

This article only strengthened my belief that Pruitt is ready to head a program. It also shows that he'll never be satisfied with with 9 or 10 win seasons imo. He wants hardware as much as we do.

I didn't think the article made Pruitt sound that bad. It sounded like he was right.

The writer accused Pruitt of hiring an incompetant S&C coach, and also really seemed to undermine the fact that Pruitt's defenses were the core of that team by hinting they weren't very good at all.

It wasn't a hit piece by any stretch. But Pruitt is definetly the villain in this first part, anyway. And I doubt the write up is just coincidence after what transpired a week ago.

Richt is a nice guy. But hes also a HFC and was for a long time before anyone knew who Jeremy Pruitt was.

This reeks of stretching an idea until it reads what you want it to.

Richt is a great, great guy but I believe he has a higher calling than football right now with the Church and Christian outreach programs. And there is rarely a day off for P5 college football coaches. Even though he is at his Alma Mater, I expect him to retire within 4 years.

I will say this. There will be opposite opinions on this one.. But to go in front of the media and say we need an indoor, and we are getting an indoor... Was basically a giant power move by an assistant who had been there less than a year, aimed at the highest ranking people in Athens.

That is 10 LB bowling ball sized kahunas to do something even similar to that in any enterprise. That is wanting to win more than wanting your own job.

He put the boosters, HC and AD on notice!

Too bad he wasn't overturned, Georgia doesn't need an indoor facility. That can be used as a recruiting tool.

Can't wait to see what else beyond new weight room he conjures up next! Maybe he will demand cell phone service and WIFI at Neyland!

...and Cornbread in the concession stands!

That bit about him getting pissed at Richt for not enforcing the "no fighting" rule, Pruitt's 100% right. Maybe the strength guy WAS a stooge, nobody makes 100% the right hires, but a lot of it is encouraging just as to Pruitt's mentality and instincts.

A 10 lb bowling ball is rather small isn’t it?
