...Schedules a stretch of games like this with a bye week AFTER the Bama game? Really needed a bye week prior to A&M and Bama. Going to be hard to get healthy at this point to hit the last half of the season.

The SEC offices in Alabama. Probably consult with their darling Nick Saban before finalizing any team schedules.

Joking, right? SEC schedules the conference games. We control the non conference games and that is it. The SEC scheduled our four most difficult conference games, including two road games, consecutively. The SEC flat boned us with the scheduling. Worse, we have sustained nearly unimaginable injuries that have left us with a depleted roster absent four of our five best linebackers, two of our best CBs, and on and on. We have not advanced to a level that such losses can be sustained. Heck, three freshmen played OL today, including a guy who weighed 240 lbs or so this past spring.

Did Ryan Johnson and Nathan Niehaus play? I know Tatum did but did they burn the other 2 redshirts as well?

That's my point. What input does Tennessee have in scheduling? I can't imagine UT not lobbying for a bye week before now if they have any say so at all. Injuries mounting during this 4 game stretch.

And, it's no wonder that alabubba seemed so fresh. Kent, Kentucky and then Arkansas. I'm not making excuses but it seems al got a lot more favorable schedule than we did. Where we get two of our biggest rivals games back to back, then a difficult game against atm and then bammer. Damn
