In 1966, Richmond Flowers (future NFL player for the Cowboys and Giants) was on the cover for the 110 hurdles. He was a 3 time AA in track and a hamstring injury kept him from competing for a gold medal in '68 Olympics.

UT was the only school that did not wear white jerseys. The only game I remember is wearing white was in 1968 Cotton Bowl.

This wasn’t a Vol on the cover but always loved this issue as a kid because of the photo of Larry Seivers in 1976 with Bettie Feathers from the 1930’s. Expectations were high but turned out to be Bill Battle’s last year.
