What Exactly is an Associate Head Coach?

Since O is now an Associate Head Coach, what does that mean? Is it just a title, or does O actually have extra responsibility?

But seriously, he's more in depth with game preparations, game-planning, and such. It's also just an added title as well in some cases.

midseason though. doesn't mean if the season is over and Kiffin is fired/leaves that O would be head coach coach. It's more of if the coach is not able to be at the game or leaves during the season the associate head coach would take the duties

It's a title and I am sure that there is a hierarchy to the whole staff like there is the President of the US.

Depending on CLK...most associate head coaches have a lot of say into practice scheduling. Also he will be organizing the recruiting.

The practice planning and scheming though will be dependent on Lane.

Means he is just like Chavis. Although Chavis' title was assistant Head Coach. It means you are to be a head coach if the HC is not able to fulfill duties or if the HC decides to defer authority.
