I'll take Jackson Lowe,,nobody is mentioning him.lol
Also,,it wouldn't hurt for a tight end to really step up and make a name for or himself. I know we have Woods-Anderson but having more can only help.

I thought about picking him too but he is only 235. He needs 30 more pounds to be that blocking TE we desperately need.

Morris will need to get stronger ..heard he got pushed around at the UA game practice but I predict he will play some out of necessity not because he is ready ... Akporoghene is raw and needs alot of work technique wise will redshirt , Id says best bet is Eric Gray at RB and Ramel Keeton at WR and Jackson Lowe at TE ... should be able to get in top 3 in rotation ..we have alot of waste at TE position overloaded with guys who will never play ... Crouch will have that opportunity if he can stay healthy and learn the OLB position , Mauer will redshirt at QB , McCullough seems mature enough that he could play in reserve role .. same for Tyes Fields at CB ... other DB Burrell will redshirt ...

We are so deep at WR, it would be a sin to not redshirt Keyton. We have two very good RBs (3 with CFA) but Gray could crack the top three and be a regular in the rotation.

There are some really solid freshman who have arrived on campus this January. You have your obvious players like Wanya and crouch who will gets lots of playing time but you also have players like Jackson Lowe might have more of an impact simply for numbers reasons.

I am leaning toward Crouch being in the system for 8 months before his first game and being a LB, because that is where CJP defense is built around a really good LB core that can cover and rush the QB with effectiveness. Wanya is a 5 Star but freshman OL have a harder time adjusting ( course trey smith did just fine). Gray at RB?
what are you thoughts on who will make the biggest impact NOT best player or the best stats but the biggest impact?

We better hope it’s Morris.

I Would caution the expectations for any fr OL. They almost unanimously need a year in a weight program before making a real difference.

For OL who we need to take the next step are Johnson and Carvin. 2 really talented guys that desperately need an offseason of getting bigger and stronger.

Michael Munoz started as a freshman

Fields or Burrell and that will mostly be due to neccesiaty. One will step up and be on the field replacing Buchanan or have to fill in if Taylor or Thompson experience injury.

We’re deep at WR? JJ, Callaway, Palmer....and who else? Guess you could throw in Jordan Murphy who had 11 catches last year. That ain’t depth.

Wanya for sure but I’m thinking McCullough is going to football smart, fundamental, savage his place by the end of the season and not look back. Ed Reed-Troy Polamalu type thing.

I like McCullough as well. Is he going to be playing Buchanan’s position?

Pruitt gave him several chances. His last chance was on the game that he fumbled before the goal line. Not sure which game that was

You realize that Banks is the one who asked to move to LB right? Pruitt didn’t want to move him from RB. However, he probably wasn’t going to see much more playing last year because of the fumble issues. (Which can be fixed)

Lowe or McCollough.

Morris I imagine will play a lot at some point but it'll be a big learning curve and he won't reach his potential weight and strength this year.

Crouch has to learn a new position and overcome injuries. He hardly played any football this past season. That's not easy to overcome as we've seen multiple times with recruits over the years. Just look at Khalil McKenzie.

Banks asked to be moved because he wanted to be on the field sooner, rather than later.

Of the signed players Crouch and Morris could be equally important to the offense and defense. If Wright signs with us I will go with him he is big and a road grader type lineman.
