Ole Miss played a great game today. But don't get too excited because Bama was looking past Ole Miss to Tennessee. What do you think?

I would not say Bama was looking past Ole Miss...they have struggled against pretty weak competition all year. I have to give them credit for a great effort vs. FLA, but other than that ONE GAME they have not been impressive. But hey, neither has UT.

Me too, makes for a better game. I'd call next week a "who knows?" could be anyone's game...whoever wants it more.
Heck of a game on ND vs USC...gotta go!

Does this mean that our offense is better than bama's since we scored more on Ole Miss?

The Tide is looking pretty good this year. I would chalk today's effort up to lack of focus and looking ahead.
The Tide certainly doesn't scare us though. We lose, its because we're still underperforming. Our program is still ahead of Alabama's.

IMO you got 2 coaches going in 2 different directions. Shula who really wants to prove himself and secure his job and works very hard.
Fulmer who has been resting on his laurels since winning the NC. Fulmer doesnt have the dedication he had before winning the NC. It shows throughout the program. Hes getting a little arrogant with the fans too. Everything is execution, execution, just trust Phil and the coaching staff. I dont think Fulmer has the motivation to take the team to the next level any more. He got complacent while everyone around him got better.

Agreed. I think his complancency shows in every area of the program. Think about some of the talent that he has been unable to keep the reigns on (Banks, Schaeffer, Brooks). I understand those may just be bad apples, but allowing them to behave like they did screams that the head coach is losing control of his program.

All of those players were deciplined several times within the team. They were all given so many chances to do right. Young men can be given a perfect example to follow but the onus is upon the individual to make the right decision. So those three had proper guidiance IMO, they just chose to make the wrong decision. He must continue to stick to his guns and probably tighten the reigns. But once again, this is just one man's opinion.

I understand that these are kids, I just wonder if CPF is stern enough when necessary. It is almost like they do not heed his warnings. I commend him kicking them off of the team, but I still think it puts his lack of control on display. We can agree to disagree, no biggie.

What do I think? I think like I always do when UT and BAMA play.
Throw out the records and tighten the chin straps. As far as either team is concerned, both records are 0-0.
