Sometime around the end of next month Im leaving here to start a new ministry. Going to be scary to leave relative security with a 2mon old baby, but God is calling. What do you think of our logo? when we get the web site going I'll post it and you can give me feedback on that as well.

I like the bottom logo better. I feel sorry for you because you have to be around those hogs.

I like it, very good and it looks nice too.

And you know not to worry about the taking care of part, right? You feed your congregation and they will feed you... and don't forget God chose you and has a little to do with it too! I'm sure you'll be fat and happy, in the Christian way, not in the glutonous way :birgits_giggle:

To be willing to go where He wants, rather than follow a self centered path is a testament to your faith. I applaude you, God Bless and good luck.

Good luck on your new ministry. What part of Arkansas are you moving to?

rex, Why is the letter i in LiFE lower case? Also, why does the slogan refer to a changed life, while the name of the ministry is LiFECHALLENGE? It's visually appealing, but I thought this might be the type of feedback you were looking for. Good luck!

Going along with Hillbilly here.

The actual logo has a little feeling of this......
Iron_Cross_1st_Class_1914.jpg
.

Which is a Nazi symbol.

Also, the sharp points and even the red color on the symbol could be interpreted by a young mind as "Devil Horns".

The symbol just strikes me as sinister, more so than "this is a place of peace and understanding."

I like the lower case "i". It kind of sends the message that egos are left at the door and no one is singularly more important than anyone else. Like a group working as one to learn of the word rather than the fear of trying to understand on your own.

Like VH said, it is very visually appealing I just don't think that main logo is really sending the message that needs to be sent in and of itself. Maybe a something little softer, more invitiing.

Think if that logo was on the door of a place you didn't know about. Would you want to enter those doors with no clue of what was on the other side. I wouldn't.

I'm down for feedback on things like this anytime anyday. If the symbol is one of religious meaning then I'm sorry for my ignorance.

I think you will never run out of drug and alcohol dependent participants in Arkansas!

After closer inspection, in the word "Challenge" the two L's and the E, somewhat form the word "WE".

Maybe keep the lower case "i" and somehow bring out that "WE" with a differet color.

Kind of like We help you find "i" kind of deal. I don't know, tell me what your thinking here, rexvol.

We, at Life Challenge, want you to know that a life-changing journey is just a decision away. If you are ready to get free from your life-controlling problems. If you are ready to learn a new way of life through a relationship with Jesus Christ…

If you are ready to do whatever it takes,

then we believe that our program of healing, joy, and restoration is for YOU. Whether you are looking for help for yourself, a family member, or a friend, our prayer is that you will pick up the phone and call to find out more about us.

Remember, there is hope. With God, ALL things are possible. Matthew 19:26

The Arkansas Women’s Center is a place of healing, joy and restoration for women who are 17 and older. Located in Russellville on 11 acres of property, the home is a refuge for the lost and the suffering. A visitor cannot help but feel a spirit of love and peace in this place.

Working with a total of 36 students, qualified staff members give Biblical training through devotions, chapels, and classes. The goal is always to train the students to live by Biblical principles. There are many topics covered such as anger, guilt, self-image, blame, godly relationships, and many others. Counseling is provided for each student by trained staff members. There is a high level of accountability for assigned tasks, personal growth, personal organization and cleanliness, group participation and Godly behavior.

Learning to serve others and understanding work ethics are valuable life skills. The students learn and practice these skills by off-site work assignments and/or working at the center maintaining the household and grounds.

The women participate in weekly outreach services at churches and/or youth groups throughout Arkansas. There are many ministry opportunities available in music, drama, and team worship. It is not unusual to see God-given gifts come alive when the ladies truly pursue their walk with Jesus Christ.

During monthly visitations, one can see the progressive healing of many family relationships. The restoration of one affects ALL. As they get in touch with their Creator, they are able to share the insights and changes with their loved ones.

The length of the program is 13 months and the cost is free. Most people come to us with nothing and what we offer is the Holy Spirit’s power to transform lives. At the end of the 13 months hope has been restored to the hopeless. We often say that people come to Life Challenge in a last ditch effort to save their lives and while here, they discover the very meaning of life.

I'm not sure if folks in Arkansas will be able to read cursive writing or a word as big as "challenge". Other than that, looks good.

I have no problems with the font or the cursive, but I'm with business on the red cross like thing. I really think you could implement something like the Celtic Cross or something similar. It just looks a little mean with the color and the points.

Life Challenge is a Christian Discipleship program for individuals with life controlling problems such as drug or alcohol addiction. We are a non-profit organization with a 501c3 status (Federal ID # 74-1816616) that operates through donations and community assistance. Our program is thirteen months in length and is a residential facility. The Life Challenge center located in Russellville will house thirty women ranging in age from 17 to 55. At Life Challenge we attempt to facilitate the healing process through counseling, character development, and job training. We are able to provide this service with absolutely no cost to the individual in need. Due to community support from organizations such as yours, we are able to provide help without charging a fee or requiring insurance. In fact, as most people come to us with nothing, we also provide clothing and hygiene products as needed. There is help available for the suffering and it is not dependent upon their financial means.
