While driving tonight listening to sports talk radio out of Nashville, they had a reporter from one of the Vol web sites on and he was asked the question what would be UT's record realistically at the end of the first four games. I don't remember exactly his words but he left me with the feeling that there is a chance we could be 0-3 at the end of September, what do you think?

I think the chances of Tennessee losing their first three games is infitesimal. Can't see it happening.

You know hat I don't either, but it got me to thinking. I know this CAL game is going to be difficult, alot of hype on this game. Then Southern Miss here "they are as good as they have been in a while I understand" and are better than Airforce, and then there's Florida.

Southern Miss is a tough sandwich game in between Cal and Florida. I could see UT coming out very flat against them after beating Cal and looking ahead to UF, giving the Golden Eagles a chance to stay in the game; I can't see Tennessee coming out flat if they lose in Berkeley. If UT loses to Cal, they will pound Southern Miss.

That after thinking was about what I came up with.

There are so many senarios that could play out........I have NO doubt which team you think gives us that one loss.

Yes, the possible scenarios are endless, and yes, I think Cal will be your lone loss. If we can somehow manage to beat you, we really need you guys to go on and play well and win. That way both our rankings benefit. If we should beat you and then you continue to lose, well, that would be bad for everyone…

Well you have to beat us first. I can't remember ever having so much hype to a first game of the year, especially a non confrence game.

Well, when you play with the big boys that’s what happens…:) Just kidding man, I can’t either. Last year was pretty big, in terms of hype, but because you whipped our collective aszes, this year is only that much bigger. This game has taken on a life of its own, at least in the Bay Area.

IT'S KILLING ME TOO! MY GOD, LETS DO THIS! I guess the only comparable comparison would be the Mike Tyson fight after Evander beat him. Everyone wanted to see the rematch, everyone! Well, I hope this year will play out differently. It is getting close enough to the game that I can make bold and crazy predictions, so, Cal 35 – UT 31.

There, fixed it for ya...

You are the most determined troll in history, I'll give you that. You're supposedly young and living in the Bay Area, yet you've spent almost every evening of your whole summer trolling the message board of a team you're about to play for the fourth time ever. Presumably you just can't get girls to talk to you.

I just have to think after what happened last year this has been the number one issue facing our God and savior, Jeff Tedford. It is rumored that he didn’t sleep for three days after the loss last year. I for one believe it! He will have our boys ready for battle and a fight not often seen in Pac play. This will be more of an SEC game, a lot of hard hits and stout defense!

I can, but then again, I am more concerned with this game. I am the classic definition of a fanatic, not a troll. This game means more to Cal and me than it ever could to anyone in Tennessee. This is the game that can make or break our team in so many ways. At home we are facing lawsuits that challenge our right to renovate our stadium, which resides on state property. Yet the locals want to hold it all up so they can have better views of the bay! What selfish scumbags! A win against one of college footballs most storied programs could swing the larger population of California behind our cause and settle the issue decisively. Yes, I will admit, this game has me BEYOND obsessed. WE simply MUST win. WE just have to!!! For should we lose, I may just crawl under the biggest rock I can find and NEVER emerge!!!

I guess after you whipped us they lost interest. There have been a few, but none like last year.

I'll be thinking fondly of this remark when I'm strolling happily out of your stadium, singing "The Tennessee Waltz" to my wife.

Why are you going to the game if you already know the outcome? I know the rule, never ask a question unless you know the answer, but I am dying to know… Be gentle…
