What do you think the coaches are saying right now behind closed doors.

I bet Monte is telling his boy that the offense has to help a little bit.

I bet Orgeron ripped his 3rd-4th shirt off after yelling about how his D-line is so much more physical than Cregg's O-line.

The D has nothing to be ashamed of.\

The offense needs A Playbook with something besides straight up the middle and corner passes.

POOOOR Coaching and No Imagination with the Play Callin.

Kiffin Gets a D- today. A failing Grade.

What's the coaching staff saying? (1) we sucked tonight. (2) it's going to be ugly next week. (3) can you get a Div I coaching job off Monster? :eek:lol:

well if we had a qb that could execute we could call other plays. but with cromp at the helm, there isnt much we could do. as another poster put it in another thread, it wouldnt have mattered if vince lombardi was calling plays, crompton couldnt stick his finger in his ass today so we had no choice but to run it.
give kiffin a break, he inherited a mediocre team

And sadly, there were so many FUN, CREATIVE routes run last week that we didn't see at all today.

This pretty much sums up what Kiffin had to say on post game. Kesling ask Kiffin what he said to Crompton at Half and Kiffin responed with "whatever it was it didn't help since he threw another interception".

Maybe the coaches are discussing whether Crompton would play better without the mustache.

After reading some of the post game quotes from Kiffin, it appears we will have another week of JC. He is sticking with JC no matter what.

Kiffin isn't grilling Crompton at all. He is babying him!

HEAD COACH Lane Kiffin

On the possibility of pulling Jonathan Crompton at quarterback:
"No. I thought I didn't do a very good job today of taking care of Jonathan. I tried to stay with the run game a lot of times as you can see with the lopsided ratio of run-to-pass. I think we ran the ball 44 times or something. We've got to do better. I think that showed today, which is my fault for playing some players who haven't practiced enough because of injuries and hoping they would go out there and make plays. That really makes Jonathan suffer. So we didn't do very many good things around him."

Here is a like to some post game quotes:

I don't think a lot of us understand how limited the playbook becomes when Crompton plays like that. These are not hard throws. He makes the wrong reads, misses guys wide open etc. He makes sooo many mistakes it affects the rest of the team and their concentration. Because of him nobody else can get into anykind of a rhythm.

Two games played this year and he already has two botched snaps, one from shotgun, one from under center. He has a history of this and was already criticized for it at practice by Cheney. I saw JC play baseball in high school and his hand eye coordination left a lot to be desired to say the least. Also Sullins cannot play center in the SEC and we can only run behind Scott and Richard, and were decently successful even with UCLA knowing it was coming. Either move Mcclendon to C and plug Pope/Brimfield at gaurd or McNeil is going to have to play through the pain.

It doesn't matter what "fun" routes are ran when you have a QB that has the same amount of physical talent in the pocket as Helen Keller would.

I think they are saying that we should not have turned the ball over so much and that we are gonna work our asses off to beat Florida next week!!
