I voted for "Stability with wholesale changes to coordinators and such", but what I really want is a dedication to being an elite program from the top to bottom. Not the head coach, I'm talking about BOT, AD, President, and all those other titles that are at the very top of the administration. They need to be absolutely committed to make UT a national brand the way it was in the 90's. If there is not dedication by those people, it will not matter who the coach is, there will always be mediocrity.

lack of stability makes recruits gun shy about coming to UT more than a bad record IMO. Get a new OC and O-line coach.

If new assistants are needed, that should tell you how bad the guy that HIRED them is. Clean house. Get somebody that has a passion for teaching and winning. Not a guy that is quick to drop the hammer on the kids in the media, but has his silly momma do all the talking about him being the greatest coach ever. Dooley is a joke. A WAC coach with a big name...

I'm not a fan of the Vols losing record this year but I'm also not a fan of not giving any head coach time to do their thing...2 yrs isn't enough. Need to give Dooley a chance to get his players in and see what he can do...next yr is make or break for me. Cheany has to go now. His "O" is very simple and easy to read. It seems all his pass play calls are to the side line and it doesn't give receivers a chance for YAC. Also, I have to wonder what Cheany did from one Saturday to the next cause it sure wasn't coach the offense. Maybe this dude is so stubborn and thinks his way is the best but results count and this offense didn't have many positive results...it was almost like Vols offense had not seen what the other teams defense would do until game day!
