The writing was on the wall for LJS when they had the nerve to start charging for extra crispy bits from the bottom of the trough. Charging people for what is essentially a waste product is monumentally stupid.

My wife uses it often, as we try to limit our red meat consumption: meatloaf, spaghetti, shepherds pie, tacos. She seasons it well and I have learned to like it. It helps that she's a great cook.
