I’m currently traveling on vacation, and one of my favorite things to do while traveling is finding local restaurants. This is from “The Mill” in Dalton, GA. The Mill is an old building that was originally a textile mill, now turned into a shopping center and apartment complex. The food was very good. The picture doesn’t do it justice. This was shredded chicken, quinoa, avocado, black beans, and kale. I really like “power bowls” like this, as they are very nutrient-dense and satiating.

Breakfast for dinner..... Scrambled eggs,gravy biscuits,hash browns,bacon and a nice glass of lite orange juice with some insulin to balance it out being a diabetic.... I figured after losing 25 pounds,every now and then,I can have these kind of meals

Up in Boone for an overnight getaway, and Hubs is at Proper bringing back (where is he???) a catfish dinner for him with collard greens and braised green beans with potatoes, and a fried chicken salad and a side of mac and cheese for me, plus his biscuit. Just because.

It's a little building outside of the store on the left heading towards the state park at the end of the cape. It's called Weber's donuts, and you gotta get in line early. Best donuts I've ever eaten.
