What did you have for dinner II?

Anyone ever had the Kirkland's pulled pork from Costco? Had it for dinner last night, and maybe i was just starving, but wow. I was impressed.

Can't help ya, Freak. Smoked pork butt or shoulder is a religious offering among my people. You may order pulled pork at a restaurant, but you may not purchase it at a grocer. One must obtain raw meat and prepare it according to [for brevity's sake, I will simply say it is an argument that has been going on across generations]. Yes, we agree that pulled pork must be prepared from scratch, but we cannot agree as to the preparation.

Dinner last night was doctored up frozen pizza. Meh.

This morning, I awoke earlier than usual and made cheese grits for breakfast. Sprinkled bits of leftover bacon on 'em. Yum! My wife is a midwestern yankee. She did not care for grits until I made her proper cheese grits. Now, she likes 'em with shrimp, bacon bits, sausage, or just the way they come out of the pot. Yep, I can make grits to challenge any fancified southern restaurant fare.

We've been getting Dinnerly boxes delivered and last night we made this beef stew with dumplings recipe they sent and it was pretty tasty.

medium-rare porterhouse steak, baked potato, green peas - wife's request (we finished part of our remodeling project yesterday).
