What did you have for dinner II?

Popeye's popcorn shrimp, two "spicy" chicken thighs, red beans & rice, coleslaw, and honey on the biscuit for dessert.

Naples: pastry and "hot chocolate" (was literally melted dark chocolate in a cup)
Cruise ship to Palermo: spaghetti
Palermo: went to a fresh market for lunch and they had all kinds of fresh fruit, fresh fish, fresh meat. Had the best piece of foccacia I've ever had off a small vendor on the sidewalk.
Visited Sferracavallo (a small beach area near Palermo) for dinner and it was never-ending. The food just kept coming and coming. They served 10 appitizers including a meat tray, cheese tray, brushetta, french fries, smelts, octopus (literally it was an entire octopus put in front of us), anchovies, fried calamari, mussels. Then the pasta dishes started they served lasagna, clams and spaghetti, seafood risoto, risotto with sausage and mushrooms, and a pasta in a white cream sauce with different kinds of seafood. Then the main entrees came out. It was swordfish (filet in front of you), baby lobster, shrimp, grilled chicken, grilled pork chops, sausage, meatball. Dessert included a lemon sorbet, coffee and lemoncello.
Marsala: stopped for lunch and had a gelato
Agrigento: bruschetta, cheese, olives, gnocchi, herb crusted pork loin in a brown gravy, roasted potatoes and tomatoes with a breadcrumb topping, pistachio ice cream cake for dessert.

Tuscan sirloin, salad, and broccoli at Carrabas. Celebrating birthday, but didn't want to fall off the healthy eating wagon. I did good. Drank water.

What is the make up? We like to try new things.

I take a couple of cans of chicken, a couple of jars of salsa, and a bag of shredded cheese. Warm the chicken for about a minute in the microwave, stir in salsa, and add cheese and warm until melted. I'll usually put half the cheese, then stir it up, then pour the rest in top and melt. Eat it with nachos.

Taormina: pizza, stuffed red peppers, lasagna eggplant, meat and cheese tray, regular lasagna, brie cheese with an apricot jam topping, some kind of olive appetizer, pasta in a pistachio sauce, braciole, meatballs, sausage, and cannoli.

You aren't kidding. I come from an Italian family and there's always a ton of food when we cook but being here just takes it to another level. I still can't get over the amount of food they bring you. You think it's over and just more and more keeps coming.

Are you there on business or pleasure? It's a month right? So jealous!!
