What did you have for dinner II?

I've had hot dogs, corn dogs and nachos from different ball field concession stands all week. As much as I like a good hotdog, I'm ready for something different.

Sorrento: Had the best meal so far. We went to a local farm and did a small tour where we had samples of some of the fresh fruits and vegetables. We got to see all the farm animals and then they made fresh mozzarella right in front of us and we all had as much of it as we wanted. Then we sat down for dinner and the antipasti were fresh vegetables including zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, fresh cauliflower, fried artichokes, there were also meats and cheeses. Then the pasta dish was homemade spaghetti with fresh zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, basil, fresh mozzarella and seasonings. We also had a salad and homemade french fries. The meat was sausage, chicken and beef. Everything was organic and farm to table. Dessert was lemoncello, cream lemoncello, and a lemon cake with a lemon cream filling and lemoncello icing. Everything was fantastic!

BLT salad with warm bacon vinaigrette.

I love reading this post. Sometimes people eat things so different than I would eat. And eat things together that I would never think of. Very interesting.

Made bacon cheddar burgers in the cast iron skillet. Started with diced onions in a little bacon grease then smashed the burgers on them. Carefully flipped and added the bacon and cheddar. Yum!

I'm trying to get them again this weekend babe said we already had them this week. Trying to tell her you can't ever have bacon cheese burger enough 😂😂😂

Rome: Farewell dinner included salad, meats and cheeses, focaccia bread, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, beef with arugula and cherry tomatoes, chicken with peppers, spaghetti with peppercorn, rigatoni with diced ham in a marinara sauce and some kind of vanilla jelloish like custard with chocolate syrup on top.
As much as I love Italy and don't want to leave it'll be nice to be back home tomorrow.

Niner...thanks for sharing your meals with us while you've been on this journey. I'm sure you'll never look at food the same again.

Safe travels back.:hi:

Ribeye, salad, and baked potato. I also throwed a rack of ribs on the grill, first time I've grilled them. So good!

This thread has given up pictures and that's a shame!

I'm finally back home and made a nice spicy chicken chili! With cornbread of course
