What did you have for dinner II?

Usually, I start with a Freschetta brick oven five cheese pizza. That night, I was trying their very thin crust 4 cheese pizza.
I will confess that I started with the five cheese and added pepperoni and sausage before all the other stuff. And then I saw the brick oven 3-meat pizza and said, “Well, shoot golly gee gosh darn” or something vaguely similar and started buying those (same price!!!) and saved some steps. Plus avoided snacking on greasy Hormel pepperoni slices.

In the unlikely event that we ever do an all-veg pizza, I will certainly use the five-cheese.

But folks, the REAL secret is the pizza stone. Cough up the money. It’s a game-changer. Works on a grill too! I got this one. Note: if you have a convection oven, the 16” might be too big, bumping into the fan in back. Luckily, with my oven the excess tucks into the window area, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to completely close the oven door.

First Pic: Halibut, green beans and potatoes and yes my usual Pinot Noir
Second Pic: Tuna, Brussel sprouts and Tsimme (a traditional Jewish stew typically made from carrots and dried fruits such as prunes) I'd never had Tsimme before it's quite good. We picked it up at a deli in Portland.
Third Pic: Frittata with asparagus and mushrooms.

These were over the last two weeks.
