Does anybody know what exactly Spurrier's deal with UT is? Did we not offer him, or did he just grow up hating us? The latter wouldn't make much sense because he grew up in East Tennessee. I'm just curious what caused his hate for UT.

He wasn't offered but wouldve come here if offered.. thus the hate I'm fairly sure - its a shame a heisman and a HoF coach lost because of that.

What a train wreck...even some of the legit names given are not legit because they were not Vol locks that switched Cobb, Oher, Willis, Mallet etc.

J.C. Copeland was a Tennessee commitment who switched to LSU on signing day. Bad A** 280 FB with mad skills that can play anywhere.

Different style of offense was why he wasn't offered right? Before my time but didn't UT run the wing T then and he was a passing QB?
