What Coaches would u keep?

The bottom line is that teams in our conference know how to "beat" us.

We're tough as hell on 1st down -- no doubt.

On 3rd down we're soft as a pillow.

It has been that way since before 1998. Our "3rd and Chavis" style defense is terrible.

When was the last time TN won a big game they weren't supposed to win because of our defense?

if fulmer goes which coach would like to see stay with the team and why?

for me it coach drayton and coach scott... yes the running backs and wr's have underachieved but a bad o line and a bad qb will do that to any offense.

coach scott has really stepped up in recruitng and he has a great connection with virginia and they r loaded with talent.

all the other coaches i would let go

Another idea..........if Clawson' so great, and PHil sux BALZ, then let's fire Fulmer, and make Clawson the head coach, and let him go out and hire a STUD OC.........can't be worse than what we have........

and Clawson can make Chavis stop playing prevent defense and softy zones on 3rd down, and when w'ere ahead, before the half, and at the end of the game!!

Clean house on the whole group. Drayton? The RB play has been terrible. He needs to go first, along with Clawson and Chavis.

i would like to keep clawson, i think he's already proved his worth in recruiting. we need to let him actually call some plays.

Definately Drayton and Scott. I would like to see Clawson get another year though.

Hire a special teams coach?

Clawson's O-line schemes are single handedly responsible for our pathetic running game. If he adjusts and keeps the guys in their correct positions and has them fire off the ball and blow open holes I'll give him a pass for another year. So far I see no indication he will do this. I would just prefer we go elsewhere at this point.

uhh 03 @Miami or is there one more recent???and to get back on topic I am not sure.... I mean Pearl cleaned house even though some people wanted him to keep a coach or 2 and that worked out pretty well

How about last year against Georgia and Arkansas. Everyone expected McFadden to run all over the defense....and he didn't.

Pretty accurate statement. That is how I would describe our defense. Sad but true.
