What CJH Won't Say

Trust me brother in the big business of college sports now you don’t have to be Elon musk to know that they have already thought of every way to get more $$$ out of the fans I hear there is going to be a ticket price increase next season! Soon they will probably charge you pay per view to see games?
Its coming

Gotta love the sunshine pumpers.

I would much rather be a "sunshine pumper" than a miserable Nega constantly pissing on the team and coaches I claim to love. This staff has won 30games in the 3 previous seasons. 10games a year on average. We will likely win 9games this year...with 4 losses ALL coming to teams ranked 13th or higher. 3 playoff teams and a 10-2 Vandy team that SHOULD be in the playoffs.

Do I wish Gilbert made that FG to beat UGA? Yep. Would have been another 10win season at a minimum. Probably made the playoffs.

Do I wish we didn't turn the ball over 3x in the first half vs OK? Yep. Probably be in the playoffs.

Every season isnt going to be great. Vegas had us at 7.5 -8.5 wins depending on which company and when you bet preseason. The SEC media picked us to finish 9th in the SEC due to losing our QB and All American Corner.

We had the EXACT results that the experts said we would have. In a rebuilding year. I would be a damn fool to turn on my own team and trash our coaches...want people fired...trash other fans who weren't emotional and negative like me. I'm not that dude though. You do you. We sign the best recruiting class at UT since at least 2001 in a few hours. Its national signing day. I am gonna enjoy my life. Feel free to be negative and miserable if you like...but don't expect everyone else to be. The vast, overwhelming majority of VOL fans love CJH and are thankful that we have him. We lived through 20years of misery and crappy recruiting classes. GO VOLS

Confused by your usage of the term “you” as if you’re accusing me directly of being negative and miserable. I have a great life - the performance of UT Football doesn’t impact my day-to-day living.

Am I happy when they win? Yes.

Do I get frustrated when they lose? Maybe, depending on how they lose, which was in head-scratching fashion more than once this season.

Is my donating thousands of dollars and buying season tickets a worthy investment for a program that didn’t beat anyone of note in 2025 despite having one of the largest budgets in the country? Debatable. I can tell you I won’t continue to do so if the ROI continues to decrease and our coaches can’t teach tackling fundamentals or learn efficient clock management.

That’s not negativity, those are facts.

If you want a championship caliber team you have to spend championship money on elite athletes. This game is no longer about school colors, now its the color of money. Spend like Ohio State and you get Ohio State results.
And the elite coaches to coach them. (MATT PATRICIA)

Oh, in that case, Minnesota once was a dominant team. Even won a NC. However, had we not been”average” the past 15 or so years, you may be commenting “top five” instead. Your thought process in others is why the program fell to the depths it did. “Let’s settle for average and call it a day”.
Minnesota was only "dominant" for 15 years....Tennessee is the opposite

Except you were admitting cheering for Vandy to win before the game, so you are as much a "UT fan" as Diego's mom is a "nice lady"

Definitely not accusing you personally of anything bud. I know nothing about you. Sorry bout the confusion. I hate that the FF is a place that must be avoided after any loss or anything bad happens whatsoever because for some folks being a "fan" means constantly trashing the team, coaches, wanting to fire everyone etc. Have no idea about you and meant no offense. Have a good day and Go VOLS
