What are you going to do when Dalton knecht drops a 50 piece on Kentucky?

I just want the W. Kentucky shouldn’t be slept on. The team that killed Auburn and Bama could show, or the team that lost to LSU could show. They’re like a box of chocolates. Never know what you’re gonna get from them.

Unless I missed someone, if he scored 50 and we lost, it would be the first time a player has scored 50 in a losing effort since Pete Maravich. I say if he scores 50, we almost certainly ran those Kentucky bishes out of the damn gym.

He just had an average game and scored 24. He’ll go for 30 a couple more times ID bet. We’re in for an all time performance in the tourney. We’ve got 8-12 games left. It’s about to be the Knecht show for the next 6 weeks!

The team is learning how to play with Knecht and I also think Knecht is trusting his teammates more on the offensive end. We haven't seen him have to force the issue as much of late offensively in these last 5 games and his FGA have dropped quite a bit. Only exceptions was that 5 minute span in 2nd half against Missouri which completed turned the tide of the game and very late against A&M when the game was virtually out of reach.

When we need him, I trust Barnes will put the ball in his hands in these last 4 games. Has already proven he isn't afraid of the moment at all.

I agree 100%. He seems to be meshing with the team.

I think the likelihood of DK getting 30+ is greatly diminished, because in our most recent outing we are playing better as a team.
If he gets 30+ great! I am not begrudging him anything ... if he gets hot ... feed him the ball time he cools off ... it that means he scores 50 ... whatever ...
But, I think it is unlikely ... if Aidoo and Awaka are getting 20-30 combined points per game.
The more balanced we are the harder we are to beat.

Totally agree, just think it’s likely he goes off another time or two; in my estimation he’s the best player in CBB right now. But I love seeing a more well rounded attack though!

I think our defense dictates which team we’ll see. Our starting five is better, our bench is better, our coach is better, and if we show up, we go home with a double digit win.

Man, if we win Saturday, that Kentucky game will be even more of an insane environment. Cap off an SEC title at home against UK.
