In my opinion Mr. Obama being an African American is a sign that racism is fading.

I think we're seeing a bit of reverse racism but....for the most part I'll agree.

Millions of young voters went to the poles to express to the world that they are tired of racism and it will end now with this new president.

and to get a hand-out.

To use the equal opportunity card now, IMHO is racist.

I agreed earlier. You must have mis-r
ead me.

And if you are calling me racist, I resent it.[/QUOTE]

Pretty sure I didnt.

and to add, I'd hope that we dont see "Equal Opportunity" be the reasoning behind hiring a football coach. I've made my statment regarding my concerns for a man's race and his ability to coach. See above if there is any confusion.

I think it has more to do with the fact that people are just so sick of Bush and Obama has brainwashed everyone into thinking McCain is just another Bush. Also why does he just say he's black when his mother is white? I think people just wanted change period. But as far as racisim, i don't think that will ever go away unfortunately. Personally i don't like either one of them (Obama and McCain). It's ashame that as many people as we have in this country that these 2 are our only options. How the hell did this turn into a political conversation?
