How would you feel if we hired Jim Bob Cooter as our next HC and Tee martin for OC? Fire Currie and hire Blackmon or Fulmer. I'll hang up and listen...

Lol, the fact that most can't say "Cooter" without smiling or a little giggle... the answer is no. If he gets his name legally changed, then maybe.

I wouldn't care if his name was Harry Nutz as long as he can coach and get us playing good football again

And I was born and raised in East TN, but who in the hell names and calls their kid Jim Bob, especially with that last name

I live in Alabama. I know a young lady named Crymson Ann (here last name is White) at least they disguised it with the y so noone would know.

I'm sure the parents of 5 star recruit from CAK or Catholic HS would welcome said head coach "Harry Nutz" into their home :)

Start listing google coaches that's who's coaching Vols next 3 years

I think a Cooter/Martin package would be fire. Cooter would coach the QB's and tee would coach the WR's. Both would work wonders together putting a offensive game plan together. Bring in an elite DC and we could have something here.

Will this happen? Heck no. But it's fun to discuss. because lets face it, at this point there isn't anything fun to discuss that's related to UT football at the moment. I think JBC and Tee would gel and could get this thing off the floor and running fast. My two cents. Dilly dilly

Where does it say he's more qualified? One is an offensive coordinator in the NFL and the other in College. Here if it makes you feel better Tee can be HC and Cooter as OC. Better?

He is one of the top recruiters in college football, has more high school and college connections, plus more college coaching experience. I would say it shows he is more qualified.

How many times do we have to see this asked? My gawd...he's an NFL guy soon to be a head coach in the pros. Martin has a wife who loves LA and has a singing career. He's already turned us down for a lateral move. How many times does this get asked before the answers finally sink in? Keep asking the same damned question and expect the answers to change? The only way Martin comes to UT is as the head coach. Maybe his wife agrees for that much scratch but he's not coming as an assistant/coordinator. Got it? Good.
