would you enjoy the most? Other than the obvious great start it is to the conference schedule.

I was tempted to say knocking off the defending champs.
I was tempted to say beating a rival.
I was tempted to say winning on the road in a hostile environment.
I was tempted to say beating the Urban Crier for the first time.

But for me, it would have be to go to school on Monday, and say "Hey Buckeye fans, remember the team that kept hammering you last year?..."

Well if you look at odd's and trends then florida is about due for a loss. There is the fact urby hasn't lost to any of his big three rivals yet, georgia, tennessee, florida state that won't continue. They have a nice little win streak going about ten or more games. They also haven't lost at home here lately. It's time for some of the luster to wear off.Hopefully that funny looking ball bounces our way for once against them.It always seems like they get all the breaks maybe it's our turn, just trying to be optimistic.

If I had to live in Ohio, that would probably be the sweetest thing. I've got a good buddy that goes to Ohio State so I'll do the same thing

After UT beats Florida, the spin you put on it. You defend Gaffney's "Catch" but say UF was cheated in 04.

That's not entirely accurate.

I do not defend "the catch" as being a catch, but point out simply that it was a judgment call. On the flip side, the SEC apologized to Florida because the refs in '04 as a matter of objective fact screwed up the clock. Even if I concede the personal foul call there as not being one that should have gone both ways, there is simply no debate about the clock. It was a pure mistake by the officials and it cost Florida the game.

Even if you take away "the catch," it would have been third down on the 4 or 5 yard line, still plenty of time. You cannot say definitively that the call in that game determined the outcome whereas in the '04 game it is an indisputable fact both that the ref made a mistake and that it determined the outcome. The SEC has admitted that error.

LAW you are gonna kill us and I really feel that way

I was a lot more confident until I heard these injury reports. In the Troy game, our defensive breakdowns were exposed. The talent is there, but the experience is not and Ainge might have a big day.

On the other hand, Florida scored touchdowns on the first seven possessions on Saturday, and then lost all of their rythm, never getting it back. Add to that the injury problems and Florida's offense could sputter a bit for the first quarter or so.

You just made my point.

The '04 screw-up, with the head of officials for the SEC bolting down the stairs at the stadium trying to get to the field to stop it, is not spin. It is objectively true with a capital "T."

I think you can win. I believe Florida is properly favored. But I believe UT has as good a chance as anyone we play at Florida Field to beat us this year at home.

I thought it would have been 4th down.

they said last year's win in knoxville was his(urban's) signature win.....how ironic would that be to lose the first out of 17 in a row and become his signature loss.....whataboutit LGatr?

Closer to sensing UT will break the streak this week....
