What’s the holdup with Juke?

Wondering why Juke hasn’t announced his decision yet. If he knows what school he’s going to, wouldn’t a quick announcement benefit that school attracting other top players to upgrade the roster he’s going to be playing with? If he’s waiting on the NBA draft, I thought I saw him projected in the upper 30’s as a pick. NIL would be more for him next year than NBA wouldn’t it?

The likelihood Ament is staying is miniscule, BUT if he is actually thinking about it it may be a condition of Juke commiting. If Ament is somehow staying, we will stop pursuing Juke. We're already set anyway. Barnes has had a haul regardless of Nate or Juke. Two cool first names

I do agree but think they will add one of them and some post help. Like their recruiting class as well. Some good talent on roster.

Yeah, we can get another post with minimal NIL funds compared to the outlay for a return of Ament or the addition of Juke. Bet the house in the minute chance Nate stays, Juke won't be here

Both Tanner and Harris are in the catbirds seat. Both have eyes on the NBA draft and have college programs wanting to throw crazy money at them. Right now, they have all the leverage and they have the calendar working for them as well. It's my understanding that the only deadline they're bound by is in late May(22?) for the draft. They'll be in no hurry I suspect. The question is how long does Barnes wait? Doubt Tanner is in the discussion contrary to what Basilly-o keeps spouting between bites. They might feel like they can afford to get some front court help now and hold a spot for Harris? I kinda think this is what Barnes will do. He's going to have players/options no matter what Harris does, but if they get those players AND Harris falls our way in a month, it's got to be the strongest and deepest roster I can recall seeing in Knoxville.....at least on paper. Gonna say it again...it's all going to come down to how this roster comes together/gels. Keep seeing the hype about Kentucky turning into a pumpkin and if it can happen to them, it can happen to anyone.

Well one is in the transfer portal and one isn't.

Likely true but I thought a school had 48 hours to submit the paperwork? Wouldn't that mean some names might be popping until midnight Thursday? Regardless, I agree that Tanner isn't leaving Vandy for anything other than the NBA. Basilly-o is probably in full crawdad backstroke mode I suspect. I'd like to sign a physical big or two and roll the dice with Harris.

I think that is correct, but with a player of that magnitude it would absolutely be leaked.

If he isn't going in the draft then his is shopping for the highest bidder and I would too if I were him
