'26 WF Transfer DL Mateen Ibirogna (TTU)

For transfers yes not on recruiting. They don’t spend 10 percent what we do for high school recruiting. Indiana is the same way.

Wonder if that’s their “analytics” edge

Sign all the dirt cheap HS kids, and save that money for the portal.

I’m assuming Keys and some others cost a decent chunk.

Texas Tech will never lose a recruitment of a portal player they truly want. Endless stacks of cash.
I slightly disagree, but it will take time to see an opposite result. If guys that should theoretically be headed to the NFL not work out because of their tenure at TTU, then you might see a change. Otherwise, yes right now their pockets are deep and they are willing to reach in them.

Frees up resources for other gets. Let's get the other guys we actually have a shot with!

The moment some of you realize that whenever it comes down to money, and that's the only priority for a player, Texas Tech is not going to be beaten out...by nobody. Not by Tennessee, not by Alabama, not by Georgia, not even Ohio St. The only schools that can go heels with them, in that arena, are Texas and Oregon. The moment some of you realize this, the wiser you will be. It has NOTHING to do with shape of program, coaching staff, better preparation for draft, being cheap, or being "unserious" (the newest dumbest sh!t some of you have come up with). Campbell will spend $50 million by himself, if he has to.

If we're losing out to TT for transfers because of money alone...EVERYONE ELSE, except the two I mentioned, is losing out as well. Again, nothing to do with being "bargain bin/cheap", or "closing", or being "serious", or any other negative bullsh!t that some of you twits can come up with.

If my math is mathing right, Cody Campbell could cover all 1500 players that have went into the portal since it opened, at $500,000 per player, and still have tens of billions in the bank. Think about that. What am saying?? Asking some if you to think. Now I'M being the twit.

Theres a clear disconnect with our staff and how the portal is handled
Texas Tech has a guy that is worth 31 Billion. Haslam is our highest net worth donor is worth 9 Billion. and he's busy getting the Cleveland Browns competitive. Campbell for Texas Tech just has Texas Tech.
