We're down 14 points at the half. Time to make the magic happen.

GO VOLS!!!

I won't lose faith till the 4th QTR is at 0:00. But Bama is a different beast all together and their defense is having their way with out O-line unfortunately.

I believe.

HOWEVER we have not beat ourselves in the first half of this game. It starting to show that we are missing so many starters against this team.

But never underestimate the halftime adjustments made by this coaching staff

I still believe we can come back and win. Unlike some of these quitters in the game thread right now.

We've made great corrections all year at the half and came out with our ears pinned back. Don't count them out yet. Yes this Bama and they are a very good team. But we are at home with all of Vol Nation raising them up. We aren't done yet. Let's get after them in the 2nd half just like we have all year.

Under 50 yds total offense at the half. Thats pitiful. Dobbs better start learning how to read the defense on these read options and quit throwing to the enemy when in a panic. Happens every game! Hope he gets his **** together quick and runs the offense instead of playing scared and staring down receivers. He has the ability but the line is just getting embarrassed again.....lets go super dobbs

I knew the game thread was going to be a cesspool today and I told myself I wasn't even going to look at it.

Edit: will the 3 posters above go back to the game day thread please? I haven't even looked at it and I bet they are posting the same stuff there

I believe too. I've learned to after all of our other games... But man, these injuries sure aren't doing us any favors. And neither is Alabama's d-line

I hope you are right. But those other games we moved the ball and just beat ourselves. if there aren't major changes in our approach the second half will get ugly. 60 yards of offense won't get it done.

How could you blame anything on Dobbs at this point? He has no more than 1-2 seconds to make a decision, and he doesn't call the plays either. Although at this point I kinda wish he did.

He has misread a few read option plays where he would have had very long runs. He panicked AGAIN and threw a pick 6. Key word....AGAIN. And yes I know the Oline sucks, but those few mistakes wer huge mistakes. When hes on fire hes amazing, when hes not, hes horrible....theres no inbetween with the poor kid. Im just hoping he settles down and takes the fame over!

Ok, he misread a couple of read options. That's his fault. The screen was a huge jumbled mess. I blame the whole offense for that one. Every time he drops back to pass, and I really mean every single time, he has no time. He has to have some sort of help. You can't blame him for a porous o-line and bad play calling.
