My Western Kentucky Hilltoppers finally ended their 26-game losing streak tonight!

They defeated the University of Louisiana-Lafayette 54-21 today, as new head coach Willie Taggart secures his first victory.

We play North Texas next week for homecoming, so we might actually have a winning streak come next Saturday!

I'm just proud that my college's team finally held on for a win for the first time in two seasons.

:clapping: :good!: :pepper:

OHIO has LL in a couple of winning. Should be a nice game to paid OUr stats.

Eastern Michigan broke their two year losing streak earlier this year as well.

I noticed this earlier! Forgot to start a thread. Good for the Hilltoppers, congrats on their 2nd ever win over an FBS team since joining FBS.

It will take a few years, but I really do believe Taggert will make WKU a team that competes in the sunbelt at some point. All know his recruiting prowess, and I hope he can parlay that with X/O ability.
