I know there’s a lot of debate on this tour since half of the original lineup is still alive, but they definitely are doing it for Dime and Vinnie. It was incredible. View attachment 578840
Didn’t realize you were such a bad @ss.I know there’s a lot of debate on this tour since half of the original lineup is still alive, but they definitely are doing it for Dime and Vinnie. It was incredible. View attachment 578840
Love Pantera. Impressed that they're still going hard, but it's...different with the replacements. Had similar feelings when Scott of AC/DC passed not to mention the Lynyrd Skynyrd tragedy. Guess I just don't care for change no matter how it comes to pass.I know there’s a lot of debate on this tour since half of the original lineup is still alive, but they definitely are doing it for Dime and Vinnie. Most modern speakers still can't handle the heaviness of the Slaughtered intro.Throes of rejection on the far beyond driven album is a severely underrated song.

That whole album is good. Hell Far Beyond, Vulgar, Cowboys, and Trendkill for the most part have no bad songs. Hard to find albums filled with so many bangers.
My home theater can handle the song, but I've never had a car that didnt sound like the speakers were gonna come unscrewed from that crushing guitar tone..Gonna test out my car tomorrow though. Been a minute since I jammed some Pantera. Have had new Dying Fetus on repeat.Lots of metal fans forget Trendkill when discussing Pantera. You are correct about the speaker comment. I still have my old sony stacks from HS and they handle Pantera tunes just fine.
I got the new Samsung Buds Pro2, and they have easily the best bass sound of any earbuds I've ever tried. Most modern speakers still can't handle the heaviness of the Slaughtered intro.

That album was perfect. I remember everyone wondering how Pantera would follow up Far Beyond Driven, and then that album dropped and it was amazing. They were on fire.Lots of metal fans forget Trendkill when discussing Pantera. You are correct about the speaker comment. I have the galaxy buds live. Good sound, loud but hardly any bass.I got the new Samsung Buds Pro2, and they have easily the best bass sound of any earbuds I've ever tried.
The Tesla system also does quite well with heavy stuff. It's got an impressive setup.

But Trendkill..I remember going into East Towne (when it existed) and going to Camelot (future FYE) and this little black kid, maybe 9 years old, was in the metal area at a listening post. He kept giggling and laughing his ass off and playing some song over, and over, and over. He was listening to the first track of Trendkill where it just takes off and Phil is screaming. Hope that kid became a metal head.
I had some Bose Sports that broke literally on a plane back from vacation. The BP2 have significantly better bass.I have the galaxy buds live. Good sound, loud but hardly any bass.
I have a set of Nose sport and a set of Bose QC and they both have excellent sound but only okay Bass.
I've wanted to try the new bud pro 2 but was skurt. Do you have any experience with the ones I've mentioned?
I'd order the BP2 right now if you recommend it. Lol.
