Welp. The quitters aren't doing so well

So, I hate it when players leave. It is what it is.

The thing here is that several of the players that left may have been involved in the current NCAA issues we are dealing with.

Had they stayed, there's a chance they wouldn't play anyway.

There is also the issue of culture and the state of the program when they left.

As much as I'd like to fault them for leaving, I really can't. I don't know their reasons for leaving.

If nothing else, I'd wish them all well and thank them for choosing Orange as their initial colors in CFB.

So…. If they were possibly involved with the infractions wouldn’t they be ineligible playing for other teams and cause forfeit of games? Nothing would make me happier than Bama forfeiting a season by playing ToTo. Or OU for playing Gray.

I honestly don't know what would happen to the individual players.

I also don't know what would happen to the University if they stayed.

I'm just giving my opinion on the issue. I'm sure someone more "in the know" will come around and correct me if I'm wrong.

I just wanted to say that there's more to these moves than we, as fans, know. And wish the guys that played for us the best in the future.

It doesn't matter...even if Eric Gray had stayed, he would be on the bench behind Tiyon Evans and Janari Small....In an ironic way, it's good for Eric Gray that he left so that he can get more touches at OK

Gray’s a talented player and would definitely be getting his share of carries if he had stayed at UT.

Yeah I get that they were probably McDonalds guys and might have had to hit the road no matter what…….but the thing that really bugs me is Toots going to Bama….that will forever color him “traitor” to me.

Oklahoma? Fine….go to OSU or Texas or any other big time program you want….just not one on our schedule, in our conference, and considered a heated rival(even despite recent results.)

I’ll get over the heartburn with the others but Henry T will forever be a vile traitor to me.

Exactly! If a kid wants to leave, I don't want him to stay. But going to our most hated rival is choosing to be hated, so bring on the hate!

If they were involved and would not have been eligible here then how can they be eligible at Bama or OU? Bama and OU need to forfeit games that they have played ineligible players?

We all know that Bama and OU can provide better “benefits” than UT. Why otherwise would these players have left?
