I think the last few people were trying to sell us because the then ADs knew what they were delivering. Going back to Fulmer and before nobody knows wtf they said because we didn't have internet and no channel wanted to air the entire thing. I think this was more of an announcement than a sales job. Ultimately, I think the evaluation of this hire depends on the level of trust that people have in Fulmer. I don't think TCADAUTK would hire anyone that he does not 100% believe can replicate his own success because otherwise he would've hired himself.

I coached for 23 yrs and after listening to this guy, I'm ready to put on the pads myself! I don't know if he can coach a lick, but i'd like to hear his pre-game speech. Go Vols!

I really don't think that is a fair statement. He has helped make more coaches than most and doesn't seem to mind seeing them move up.

I hope he can get Cade Mays back in the fold. he should be able to pull some other good recruits to replace those that left. I believe they will surprise some people next year in a good way.
