I'm not going to argue this with you. I think that the majority of us could clearly see that Clawson failed to do the job he was hired to do. That's why he's gone. Fulmer also failed to do the job he was supposed to be doing in not stepping in and saying "This isn't working, we're going to have to try something different."
Neither did their jobs and both of them are gone.

I honestly don't see why some of you have this strange lovefest for a guy that has never accomplished anything offensively to begin with. It's very strange to me.

trust me i'm not a huge fan of clawson, and i believe he deserves his share of the blame. just saying i think a lot of ppl throw it all on him, def. not all his fault. not completely his fault the qb's iq is 10, and is the worst qb of all time.

wasn't his players, and this is def not his offense, all i'm saying is i believe fulmer had clawson on a leash. that doesn't mean i'm in love w/ the guy or think he's a great coach. just think he got the shaft

Clawson is a much better coach than ya'll give him credit for. His offense fails in the first year and flourishes in the 2nd everywhere he's been.

that's my point, ppl's expectations are unreal. you can't think that just bc a guy comes in, everything is fixed. rome wasn't built in a day

those are horrible pictures, whomever the photographer was must be on the loony farm, how did he ever think it was a good idea to put the camera like 5 feet above their heads and make them all look up like that to the camera, looks like theyre all smiling into a security camera from the angle..... but i hope they put the new guys up soon, interested to see who'll they be

People also think Fulmer got the shaft. In the end, our offense was not producing. Now we hired an offensive mind to take control of the program. The outlook for next year is already looking better knowing that Phil and Clawson can't screw it up.

I disagree. I think Clawson had free reign to do what he wanted to do early on. That most likely changed as the season progressed and we started sucking it up offensively, but too many of the Clawson apologists are far too quick to say it's all Fulmer's fault when that's clearly not the case. I'm not taking up for Fulmer. He did a poor job and deserved to be fired because of it. But Clawson deserves his share of the blame for failing to do the things he was hired to do.

Do I think a better coordinator could have saved Fulmer's job? Well Cuttcliffe certainly did just that IMO. In the long run hiring Clawson was a good thing for us IMO 'cause it lead to us getting rid of Fulmer.

i think we over all agree. you said it's not all fulmers fault, which i agree, but like i said it's not all clawsons either. hell over the last 7 yrs we've declined a lot

considering our qbs were to stupid to pick up his offense, not really his fault. so if we don't win 8-9 games nxt yr who is going to say fire kiffin? you can't bring a guy in and expect in one year for the players to grasp the offense. however many fans think it should, and this shows the intelligence of many fans

great call kids stupid, and don't hold the coach responsible

No question. Where we most likely disagree is that the decision to hire Dave Clawson was one of the worst Fulmer has made. Watch his career closely. I doubt he will ever find success at a level such as the SEC unless he learns a whole heckuva lot between now and then.

coaches are responsible, but hey crompton isn't the brightest bulb. when i played ball in college we ran the princeton offense. if you had never been introduced to it, it would take you a yr to grasp it, and rt now there is a guy that was a frsh my sr yr, who is now a sr. he still has no clue wtf is going on out there. this is his 4th yr to run the princeton. just saying some guys just don't have it up top. it is what it is
