Nothing like waiting until the last minute! Had to wait for my Associates Degree to finalize before I could send transcripts, and of corse the Air Force dragging their feet with my National Guard paper work.

I applied to a few schools, with UT being the obvious #1. Should know something in a few weeks :crossfingers:

I will gladly accept a steady stream of good thoughts for the duration of the application process :)

Good luck, typical AF dragging feet. If it's for their good, then they will make it happen. Nothing has changed.

the more important question is whether you would pay the $90 for UT football tickets? :p

Wish you luck

I too am waiting to hear back from admissions for college. I just registered this morning for some summer classes at the tech school here, but I am surprised I have yet to hear back from the other. Schools are slow in general. :ermm:

haha yeah, kinda like the idea, guarantees you tickets...not sure how it worked before, but was there a chance you couldn't get tickets to a big game if you didn't wait in line all day the day before?

Maybe it will weed out the casual fans who go because it's the thing to do. Clear up some room for folks who would pay twice that in a heart beat

thanks for the luck

no kidding, the waiting it going to be hard! Luckly, we can apply for most Tennessee schools online now, which speeds up the turn around on the acceptance/denial letters.

:toast: heres to acceptance!

best of luck

Well i got my Associates in Information Technology, just depends on how many, and which credits I have are accepted by which department. More then likely Computer Science, or MIS

hahaha, why is this? Flooded market?

I just keep seeing more and more coding going overseas. I really wish we could keep the talent in-house but the $$ difference is huge. Hard to do that with the LAN, networking, etc. Just my :twocents: and I could be wrong.

Yeah that sounds about right, luckily I know a few people on the Government contracter side of the house. There would be no way I would do this with out an "exit strategy" of sorts

You speak so high of yourself....:p And why are you already getting ready to leave kville?

Well I am a terrible student. I have a 5 page paper due in 6 hours that I haven't started yet. I'm pretty confident the only reason I got in was b/c on the spot where you could list alumni on the application, I listed my Dad's cousin, who is a big time donor.

And I'm leaving for one because I don't want to pay the out of state and two b/c I just need a break from school altogether. Not sure where I'll be but it won't be in Ktown. Maybe I'll move to SC. I was born in MB after all. But then again, you're there so maybe not. :)

There is a big difference between a terrible student and an unmotivated one. Don't fool your self into thinking can't cut it man, it's never too late to start.

On the other hand...not everything in life you learn in a book...it just gets you a piece of paper, and allows you to check the box on job applications :peace2:
