Dad is at Mountain States Foundation Golf Tournament in tri-cities today, Peyton is there as well as Fulmer.

Fulmer is wearing a Colts polo shirt and an SEC hat. Make of it what you will. I know how I feel about the SEC hat.

If any other major university is smart they will stay away from fulmer. So i do not expect him to coach at any good situations and CPF would not want to go to a bad situation.

I saw him at a brunch this weekend at Club LeConte. He sat at a table with several guys who were obviously football players. I only recognized Vlad Richard, and Dan Williams, but they were all lovin up on Fulmer like he was their dad or something.
He definitely still loves "his" kids, and I'm pretty sure he'll always love Tennessee. I'm just afraid (for him) that he's sitting back hoping UT will follow in Kansas State's footsteps.

I could see him wanting something to go wrong for us so he could say you shouln't have fired me but I mean come on, I remember when he said we should go undefeated, how's that not any presure for the ole ball coach in a statement that i read. Its just baby stuff!

Phillip will not be landing any high profile college jobs. 2 sec championships in 17 years. One national title and a whole lot of win padding when the sec wasn't as strong as it is now. Phil's career can be summed up in two halves. First halve he was very successful from 1993 till around 99. 2000 til he was dismissed, he did about as well as ray goff would have done here with the talent provided. He needs to thank his lucky stars that clint sterner tripped over that guy's foot in 98 or he would have been gone much sooner.

I love the people that consider Fulmer a bad coach.

Random "UT" fan said:
His losses are because he sucked as a coach
His wins are because of something else other than him.

His record is what it is, regardless of how he got there.

There is no team in the country that doesn't win a National Championship without a little bit of luck along the way.

What is really sad is that people can't get over Phil. Some couldn't wait to show him the door and now they want to whine because he's not "all-orange all the time".

Let it go people. You'll feel better.

Exactly...Even if he is a little bitter, could you blame him? I mean he had only gave 35 years or so to the University of Tennessee, while it was time for him to go I don't blame him for having some hard feelings but because he isn't in Orange that doesn't mean is disrespecting
