Well, Bama Lays an Egg

Yeah that was pretty bad.

Duke looked like a pretty fine team last night to me though.

Once you get to the Elite 8 level, if one team is "on" while the other is "off"-things can get ugly.

It's Bama so I'll crack on 'em a little bit, but few would have kept it close with Duke last night.

Alabama didn't play well, but Duke has literally 5-6 future NBA players, including probably the next generational player. Who's going to beat them?

If we get by Houston, it would be fascinating to see what Barnes comes up with to get them into a rock fight.

Sears couldn’t miss a 3 against BYU and just looked flustered the whole game against Duke. Especially that first 10 mins.

Duke is a problem.

Duke is a lot better than BYU. They actually played defense and mostly contained Bama from getting too many offensive boards. I don’t know that it was really Bama laying an egg as much as Duke outplaying, being more physical and outcoaching Bama. Jon Scheyer is a competitive guy, I’m sure he’s heard all about Nate Oats being this and that wanted to take it to him. I guarantee he also remembers when Nate Oats called out Duke’s program and Coach K a couple of seasons ago. That makes it to the list. They don’t forget $hit in that program.

Not sure we're in a position to laugh at or make fun of anyone with the beat down we caught yesterday. This is exactly why you don't talk $hit. Karma!
