i'm starting to think that this guy is actually the kid in the photo. I don't see how a man with a child this age can act so immature and innapropriate about a situation.

That is very true...I guess since I live here I'm not allowed to tell people that they spelled a 3rd grade word wrong. I should move to wherever he lives, I'm sure people are much smarter there.

Yeah, don't these guys get it? 150 wins versus 51 losses and the third highest winning percentage among active coaches is an absolute disgrace!

Yeah, nothing wrong at all with his record against current coaches, top ten teams, or actual championships..

If you had ever attended a university, much less high school, you would maybe, just maybe, have the potential to grasp reality, that reality being doing the job you are paid to do. Fulmer was being paid handsomely to perform a job that he loved, but that he could no longer perform satisfactorily. He had a nice run, ending up filthy rich so lay off the drama.

I am not dissing Fulmer. I like what he accomplished in his time here and yes the winning % is good. To put it simply though. If you can look at his career as head coach and not believe it was time for a change, you are in complete denial. BTW, 20 of those losses have come in the last 4 years...........hardly a noteworthy achievement during that time span, IMHO.

big difference..Bama was on probation and as we know it takes years to "right the ship"..we couldnt find a coach (a good coach) that wanted to come to Tuscaloosa. Tenn is a school the Big Dogs want to go to..they want it now..they can win and win big and they can do it NOW. I believe Tennessee can pick and choose whom they want, other schools that have openings cannot do this..UT will be a giant again very soon and your smiles will return

I agree it is apples and oranges, it is hard to turn a program around with scholarship reductions and such.
Bama got lucky with the Saban hire, the right coach at the right time. I wish the Vols luck in their hunt.

Your one of these posters that just sit around drinking Pat's Blue Ribbon all day long, watching replays of Nascar, then filming your kid hit a punching bag, posting that on the internet because your impressed ppl can do that. . . then you get mad when change occurs. I bet you were PISSED when we fired Wade Houston, then Kevin O'Neal, then Jerry Green, then Buzz Peterson. You were probably also mad when Johnny Majors was let go. But now you are also the loudest when Bruce Pearl wins, and when we won the NC in 98. You have no validity in anything you post.
