Welcome Back Sly

I know you probably have the moving thing handled, but I won't hesitate to fly out there and help you if you need it. And don't be a stubborn old man about it, because I have the time.

Classy.

Blu, I have no words for your kind and generous offer. Thank you. The move is taken care of. Anything large is already in Tennessee. It will be like a nice long cross country road trip getting back to Tennessee. Haven't decided the route yet. Would like to go down through Moab and Gallup but that adds 600 miles. Might do it anyway. Have you had this beer? I'm having a few tonight with the Black Butte.

No problem man. I figured you had a handle on everything, but if you ever need help in any way I am available. Just have to let me know. But take your time and enjoy the road trip. If you decide to go down to moab you should cross over and go through the san juans and the black canyon. See it while you are close. As for the beer I have not had it. Who brews it?

Harvest Moon Brewing Company. They're in Belt, MT which is just outside of Great Falls, MT. 'Bout 150 miles North of here. I'm still considering the southern route. Extra 600 miles or so would just be an extra day. I'm in no hurry so I might just do that.

I could hit 491 at Monticello and go that way. 491 is the old Route 666. Hate that they changed that road designation.

Haven't had any of that brewery. I have heard of them though. I just thought I would suggest it, because it wouldn't be too offtrack of that route, but just a little more time like you said. You going to spend some time in the NP's in southern Utah or just pass through?

Probably just pass through if I go that way. I've spent more time there than most people born in Utah. But, never say never. It's all free at this point. I have my annual Utah State Park Pass and my lifetime National Park Pass. Probably use that one tomorrow in Yellowstone.

They still make mirror pond or green lakes. He may like those if he is into something lighter.

Yeah, still around. Lot of different types for different tastes if one will only turn loose of the American beer swill. I don't know what I'll be able to find around the Knoxville area when I run out of Black Butte. Might have to quit again though I don't drink that much anymore. Won't be difficult if faced with the alternative.

It was rather depressing beer wise after being spoiled out there for so long when I came back out here. But on the plus side when I was at the Deschutes brewery in 2011 they anticipated being nationwide within 2 years. So I hope that it is anytime for being out this way.

They have made it to MO and IL so hopefully before long.

Good to see you are "moving on". I hate what you have been through, but they tell me "that's life", the part of it that sucks.

Anyway, keep it tween the ditches.

No need to respond. :hi:

That would be good. There are some micro breweries in Knoxville that I can try out.

Thanks, Behr. Yeah, it's the part that sucks about aging, for sure. Thought is greatly appreciated.
