i can't run long distances anyways, the constant pounding on my knee, where i don't have a meniscus anymore hurts to much. feels like the inside of your knee is literally on fire.

Been running for two years now. Just got into the routine. That's the hardest part. Football season my knees and diet suffer.

This speaks to my weekend plans:

Having an elliptical machine delivered Saturday.

Assembling Saturday and Sunday (if needed)

Getting older and fatter sucks.

I do use the elliptical machine at the gym on days that i don't play pick up. it doesn't bother my knees. i actually like it. i might look gay using it, but i don't care.

I have a Precor elliptical in my gym at home and really like it -- much easier on the knees, which is great when you do squats, etc.
