ARK fans have every right to be upset.

and here's to hoping there are no more board meltdowns on this board in particular.:p

they ran it once for no gain, or a short loss. no surprise there.

it'll never be successful until they throw the ball from that formation. I just wish they had tried it once. Am I the only one that's concerned about Ainge's drop off?

No, not at all. He has been dismal for the past 3 weeks.

as to Ainge, i'm less concerned about him because he's not making bad decisions. he's not lighting anyone up, but he's been efficient and he's made some very good throws when he's had to. the 3rd and long conversions immediately come to mind.

but i'll just keep saying it.....our WR's get no separation...we had one play on Saturday due to a busted coverage where he hit LT for 29 yards.

that was it. the two TD's were underneath routes, designed that way, to block down feild and have the WR run his way to the end zone. the fade in the 1st qtr, did you see AR get all turned around? the ball was there......the rest of the routes were crossing patterns and underneath.

and we ran the hell out of the ball.........so, in short......no, i'm not conerned about Ainge. i actually think he's managing the game fairly well.

Agreed. I would have loved to see a play action bomb in the second half because Arky's safeties were literally 8 yards from the LOS almost the whole game. But oh well. UT won and there is no need to split hairs now.

I was very, very, very happy with the win. I was estatic over Mayo's play, I've said it before..as he goes, so goes our D. Ainge concerns me in that he was our strength and now if we had to put the game in his hands Im not sure he could come through. He has managed the game well, Jake, you're right about that. As far as the wr's, put O'Neal in and at least let him try to run under one to stretch the field.

Ainge certainly has the ability to throw long, but they don't seem to want to try. Is it because or receivers cannot go up and take the ball when they are covered? When yu are going long, the ball has to be thown before you really can tell if your man is open. You are throwing to a spot on the field usually.
