At the Red River showdown sports fans might get to hear Colt McCoy's newest series of excuses. Maybe the sports writers will wake up after a dose of reality.
sips=overrated. About as bad as florida if you ask me.

like i said, TX was the beneficiary of repuation with a soft early schedule.

and TX will still likely finish with 9 or 10 wins because of it.

Just a couple of simple alterations... "nostraja*k*ss"...

Sorry. Had to be done.

Nice summary though Jake, I rather enjoyed it all myself.
Thursday at South Carolina certainly looms large...
looking back, that was too easy. i defer to the one that simply put 2 and 2 together and put it out there.

and i'm sure there are plenty out there that will probably agree with you.....:p

and thanks......Thursday night ought to be good. now if i can just get out of the company meeting dinner thingy, i'll be set.

conference tilt......UGA got a tune up. big week this week for both GA and TN. both see the door open, and both know that Saturday is a MUST win for either to remain in contention. i read hat's thread earlier, and he is correct. the opportunity is there. go get it and GEAUX TIGERS, and, gulp, Go Wildcats? never thought i'd say that. I still expect TN to win this game. two weeks to prepare, at home, huge opportunity in front of us........no reason why we shouldn't go win this game.

The big bugaboo remains unresolved. Until this team shows it has learned to finish a game, be strong at the end, the opportunity is little but a deadbolted door. I'm still waiting to see 'em kick in the door. 10 more attitudes on defense about losing to match Mr. Bolden's would be really nice to see Saturday. I'm hopeful, but show me.

i think that's where we all are. it's there. go get it. if they don't, then everything that has bee posted here the past two weeks just becomes a lot closer to the truth.

it's an opportunity. not a guarantee.

we'll find out if they can take advantage on Saturday whether or not they have that attitude.
