Now that we have had all night and day to vent lets talk about something that really matters, Week 1 Bowl Projections

WTF rematch with Tech? No Thanks, if so Tennessee should decline the offer and stay home.

Belk Bowl

Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina
Dec. 29, 1 p.m. (ESPN)

Bonagura: Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee
Hale: Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee

Bring them on, they will still have the same pathetic defense and special teams. 😀
That wans't a fun game to watch last night. They had the ball almost the entire game. No way I want to see them again in a Bowl. It would be beyond boring.. Bring on another Big 10 opponent to beat down :)

Our offense will be much better by mid season and will be able to keep the ball away from their offense. As a result, the defense will be much more rested and experienced. we will be much better team come October and Bowl time. Don't sweat it.

It won't happen. They're probably just going off of predicted order of finish in each conference at this point.

Part of the SEC front office's essentially "mission statement" about how assigning bowls to the "Pool of 6" level of bowl games - Belk, Taxslayer, Outback, Texas, Music City, and Liberty Bowl - notes that one of the things they'd be looking at when assigning those bowls would include avoiding rematches of both regular season games and recent bowl games.

Collegefootballnews looks like it has us in the Belk Bowl vs NC State.

(I presume it's the Belk. They accidentally put Arkansas twice on both the Belk and Music City Bowls.)

I have seen all I want of GT for a LONG time. I have no interest in playing that offense again.

I had (emphasis on had) a nostalgic fancy to return to the days when we played GT more frequently than every 30 years. But after witnessing that triple-option meat grinder last night, I wouldn't expose our young men to that again.

bowl projections before week seven or eight are the dumbest reads and most pathetic attempts to get clicks. Before the season started, we were destined for a lower bowl than that. Now after one win, we're already anticipated to have a rematch??? sheesh

For f***s sake dude lighten up. Everyone knows this is not going to happen and the projections mean nothing, hence my blue font in the original message. It is something to have a little fun discussing and nothing more.

And welcome to my ignore list for being annoying "bowl projections before week" guy.
