Week 1: are we the only SEC team that loses?

Those guys were excited to play. Both teams really. Guys would spring back to their feet after a tackle like they were enjoying the physical contact and eager for more. As bad as Miami was down, they never quit. LSU always oozes with physicality like it was just part of their genetic makeup. All LSU has been lacking is a good QB. Could be they found one. Their linemen and backs always seem plentiful where they can restock easily every year. One thing for certain is that they welcome a hardnose, physical game. Win or lose, they are going to attack you upfront and send those big back hurdling through the gaps like cannon shells.

We were exactly like them once. And we will be again!

Yea- this is the kind of crap I have to see everyday. People wonder why we are not more patient.

I'd rather lose in W1 to a legit opponent and really use that game as good evaluation of where need to improve, putting into place over next two weeks against cup cakes, than roll thru an easy pre SEC schedule with delusions of grandeur. We had our dose of reality...I'd rather have it early than later.
