After spending Tuesday on the bike, senior linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. was a full participant Wednesday. However, the cornerback group was short one body, as Kenneth George was working over on the side with the S&C staff. .

Kurott Garland was moved up from the scout team and working with the main d-linemen today. Similarly, Kivon Bennett wasn’t a scout teamer Wednesday and worked with the 1s and 2s at outside linebacker.

Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano once again took every first-team rep. Once again, there were no apparent planting issues. Despite missing the end of the UF game, the second-year starter looks on track to play Saturday.

The tailbacks spent the whole first period working seeing and pressing the hole. Chris Weinke was as vocal with his group as he’s been all year.

Could a lineup change be coming to Tennessee's offensive line? It certainly looked so on Wednesday. Redshirt freshman K'Rojhn Calbert saw multiple reps at left guard alongside starting left tackle Trey Smith.

It's also worth noting the only other player who appeared to get work at left guard on Wednesday was Riley Locklear alongside Nathan Niehaus. Jahmir Johnson, Tennessee's starting left guard in all four games this season, was present but only appeared to watching drills with his helmet half off.

Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano again practiced with a brace on his left knee, but looked fine and was sharp throwing the ball, as was Keller Chryst.

Jauan Jennings was noticeably vocal in interacting with his teammates during practice.

Playing the role of Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm for Tennessee's scout team this week is freshman JT Shrout.

Hey here's a question, why are the players practicing in different cleats than what they would wear in the game. Seems odd to me.

I'm glad our guys are showing fire under Pruitt. We didn't see enough of that last season .

Still don't think it'll translate much in the way of wins this season with that O-line, but turning the program around starts with the fundamentals.

Will lose some athleticism, but Calbert is much bigger than Johnson. Honestly, I haven’t been impressed with Jamir, and with UGA being massive across the D Line, I wouldn’t mind seeing what KC can do...

You are excited about Calbert and I'm excited about Garland. Garland is a monster on the D-Line. Kid has fight in him.

If we could keep this to a two score game I would honestly consider that a small miracle. I do hope the guys have a great week of practice and have a good rebound game against UGA. I hate the way last week went but I know the players and coaches hate it 1000x more.

It seems pretty simple with Pruitt and this staff that you have to make your own choices and those 2 choices are simple...

You either give 100% total effort on every snap during practice and in the game or else you get promoted...to the bench.

Work hard and earn your playing time or learn how to be happy not playing.

Sounds like the right approach to me

If that's true we should see a whole bunch of new guys in the starting lineup Saturday.

I feel like we should have started last year at testing out new D-Linemen.
I hope this works out.

I'm pumped to see this kid getting his chance to start. He's from my hometown and from what I hear is a great young man. I hope he comes in and kicks some major butt!
