Facebook ‘Supreme Court’ to Feature Leftist Law Professors

Facebook’s new oversight board, commonly referred to as its “Supreme Court,” will be tasked with determining which content should be removed from the site. It will be staffed with leftist professors from some of America’s top law schools.

According to a report by Campus Reform, Facebook’s new Oversight Board will be staffed with law school professors that have donated to progressive candidates and causes.

Columbia University Law School Professor Jamal Greene and University of Oklahoma Law Professor Evelyn Aswad are amongst the American legal experts that have been named to the Oversight Board. Greene has donated to the campaigns of Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton. Aswad has donated to progressive causes through a fundraising organization called ActBlue.

Stanford Law School Professor Pamela Karlan, who was recently named to the Oversight Board, was an aggressive proponent of the campaign to impeach President Donald Trump. During a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee, Karlan compared Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president to suffering through a hurricane.

A Judge Rules Rachel Maddow is a Fake News Fabulist and Not a Journalist

A stark admission to avoid culpability took place.

A court decision came in with a pure document-dump timing this past weekend. On Friday a judge dismissed a lawsuit brought against MSNBC personality Rachel Maddow by the upstart network One America News, and most in journalism circles probably shrugged with smug satisfaction, if they even noticed during the news vacuum on a holiday weekend.

The $10 million suit was a defamation case, where OAN stated that Maddow had slandered the network on-air when she declared it was an outlet of ‘’paid Russian propaganda’’. What has not been properly acknowledged is that in order for her to evade responsibility in the case Maddow took on the defense that she was not delivering fact-based news on her program that evening, something the judge agreed was accurate.

Maddow had inserted her own colorful commentary into and throughout the segment, laughing, expressing her dismay (i.e., saying ‘I mean, what?’) and calling the segment a ‘sparkly story’ and one we must ‘take in stride,'” Judge Cynthia Bashant wrote Friday.
This is a rather amazing stance for a member of the media to take. Here we have Maddow essentially resorting to the convenient dodge more popularly employed by the likes of John Stewart from his tenure of the satirical ‘’The Daily Show’’. At times when he would be caught delivering an inaccuracy or potentially slanderous commentary he could fall back on, ‘’It’s only satire, who fact-checks jokes?’’ It is a far different scenario for Maddow, who cloaks herself as being a serious journalist, to resort to the clown nose on/clown nose off act of deflection.

Except — Maddow’s own quote about OAN from that evening is hardly one of unmistakable jocularity. “In this case, the most obsequiously pro-Trump right-wing news outlet in America really literally is paid Russian propaganda.”

Judge Cynthia Bashant wrote in her decision, “For her (Maddow) to exaggerate the facts and call OAN Russian propaganda was consistent with her tone up to that point.’’ Of note here is that it is left to the viewer to make the assumption when Maddow is no longer delivering serious news and information. ‘’The Court finds a reasonable viewer would not take the statement as factual given this context,” Bashant added, essentially acknowledging the ‘’fake-news’’ aspect of the Maddow broadcast.

Rachael Maddow’s own words here defy the interpretation of things being clearly and obviously a joke. It becomes one of amazement to declare a quote using ‘’really literally’’ was never intended to be treated as realistic, nor literal. Racheal Maddow has thus invalidated herself as any type of reputable source, as her words once delivered bear absolutely no semblance to reality, and anyone attempting to hold her to her quotes is operating in error.

Project Veritas Video Shows Facebook Content Moderators Discussing Censoring Conservatives, Reveals ‘Exception’ Given To Don Lemon For Hate Speech

Facebook content moderators discussed using their positions to censor Republicans and conservatives in an undercover video released by activist group Project Veritas on Tuesday.

The video shows individual Facebook content moderators working for a third party contractor, Cognizant, expressing their eagerness to censor supporters of President Donald Trump. The footage also shows that CNN host Don Lemon was granted an “exception” by a Facebook for speech that would have otherwise violated Facebook’s rules against hate speech.

The footage includes a shot of an internal order to the Cognizant team instructing moderators not to censor a video of Lemon saying that white men are “the biggest terror threat in this country.”

YouTube bans Gavin McInnes

In a statement provided to TheBlaze, McInnes said, "My sources tell me it's because I promoted a Parley where Proud Boys threatened to 'take back America.' You can murder and rape if you're a radical leftist but you can't even sort of threaten said group if you're on the right. To YouTube (and Big Tech, MSM, DNC, etc) saying, 'We are going to take our country back' is "hate speech' that 'promotes violence.' We saw this with the Covington Catholic school kids when Savannah Guthrie of The Today Show said, 'there's something aggressive' about standing your ground."

Twitter Censors President Trump (Again) over Warning to Lawless Agitators

Twitter has censored President Donald Trump for the second time in the space of a month, hiding a tweet warning that lawless protesters will be “met with serious force.”

President Trump’s full tweet says:

“There will never be an “Autonomous Zone” in Washington, D.C., as long as I’m your President. If they try they will be met with serious force!”

Anyone who attempts to view the tweet through Twitter will see it hidden behind a notice from the far-left Silicon Valley company, informing them that the tweet has somehow violated the platform’s rules.
Where the hell is the FCC?

Good or Bad, this is the President of the United States we are talking about!

Twitter on Tuesday once again placed a label over one of President Donald Trump’s tweets, claiming he violated the platform’s policies against abusive behavior.Trump’s tweet said that those who try to create an “Autonomous Zone” in Washington, D.C., “will be met with serious force.” Twitter claims the tweet violates its rules because it includes a “threat of harm against an identifiable group.”
The tweet came after a group of protesters on Monday unsuccessfully attempted to pull down a statute of former President Andrew Jackson near the White House. The protesters later tried to claim an area near Black Lives Matter Plaza as a “Black House Autonomous Zone,” The Washington Post reported, before police removed them.

We’ve placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behavior, specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group.https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1275409656488382465 …

Trump needs to expand to alt tech instead of relying solely on Twitter. Why does it seem like people who are illegally tearing down statues are hardly receiving any charges anywhere for it?

Agreed. Given his base is shrinking, this makes sense. This will further polarize everyone and ensure mindless echo chambers.

I would say the same thing if it was that po💩 Obama. What have we become as a country when our President is being censored by a company who is able to block his message from being seen by millions of Americans simply because someone in that company doesn't like or agree with his politics.

Why should we call in the federal government to come in and force a private company to host his comments? Don't you think that would set a bad precedent?
If an individual doesn't want to see his tweets then block him or don't follow him.

He's the President of the United States! I'm betting Twitter wouldn't censor the President of China or Putin!

No one forces him to use twitter
So businesses should be forced to convey every message? They shouldn't have the ability to moderate content on their platform?

He's the President of the United States!!!

That apparently no longer matters to people!😪

And? No one should be forced to publish his message. He can switch platforms if he's so upset
So in the future no matter who he or she is no matter Democrat or Republican your fine with the President of the United States being censored by the media?

Twitter is not media and I'm fine if some business decides not to cover the potus. Fine if they deny anyone use of their platform. Plenty of ways to hear the message if you have to
