Weakest part of Tennessee's game (ranked 117/118)?

Just read on Scout that we're also last in the SEC for pass defense, but we've made strides the past few weeks.

Looking at that list shows that this stat, taken alone, does not indicate the overall quality of team. It is rather frustrating, and somewhat embarrassing. I do not remember big returns in the last 2 games. I figured the average would be closer to the middle now. Am I forgetting something?

fair catches and out of bound punts don't count. Until we stuff ppl for short gains, those long returns will keep us there.

Ah, that makes sense. The point remains, that the staff have made changes to deal with this problem. Even if we are still technically ranked last.
