I think Hurd would have gotten destroyed running up the middle anyway. No one is running up the gut on this A&M team.

I'm not saying we're better without him but I don't think he's a great fit in Jones's offense.
Give him the ball with a head of steam and he's hard to stop. I don't think you'd see posts about him underperforming or not meeting expectations either.
